Jamie was walking down the streets of Vegas on a crisp night. The usually hot air had turned milder, though far from cool. Unlike some people, he had no fear, he never did. He figured a couple of things, if you looked like you could take care of youself, people figured you could, plus, someone would have to act fast to kill him, because if he could snap, he had back up. In a since, he was never alone, in another, he never truely knew himself.
Trying to get past this very bad emotional slump, he headed for a very... unusual "cafe" he knew. It was known for being dark and a no questions asked sort of place. Everyone's money was good there. He walked in and got himself a drink. He headed towards the back, making his way in the dimmer light to his own table. He sat back and took a drink, absent mindedly watching a tv that was on a counter.

Tina was in there and she noticed a decent-looking man enter. She pushed some of her black hair behind her ear and turned to the bartender. "Get me another..." she ordered. Ina minute, she had another Tequilla and Vodka and she gulped it down slowly, enjoying every bit of it.

Jamie looked around. He saw a girl of about twenty, give or take a few years. He decided he might as well go for it. Afterall, what did he have to loose? He walked over. He had done this tons of times before, pick up lines weren't that hard for him. He figured out which one he would say.
"Hey, do you believe in love at first site, or should I walk by again?" he asked her, since he knew for a fact that half of the other lines that came to mind would have got him slapped or laughed at. He gave her a slight smile, trying to look straight into her eyes.

Jamie chuckled, "No, but then, it doesn't have to. Afterall, we're already having a conversation," he said a sly smile on his face. "So, do you mind if I join you?" he asked her.

"Not at all..." she said. She had her black hair loose and it was dyed with red tips. She wore dark red lipstick, a leather jakcet, short, black skirt, and red, lacy shirt underneath the jacket. Her boots had small, silver spikes on the laces and they were black leather as well, high.

Jamie sat down across from her. He was wearing a deep red muscle shirt along with some loose gray shorts that went about an inch and a half below his knee when he was sitting. "So, are you from around here?" he asked, starting a simple conversation for starters.

"Yeah...kind of...actually, all over the place, but mostly around here..." she said. "And you...?" she asked, taking a sip of her drink as she crosses her legs.

"Well, not really, I was raised on a farm back south. But, I travel to a lot of places, some say I do it so much, it seems like I'm in two places at once," he said with a joking look on his face, even though he wasn't.

"Hmm...so you're a guy who travels alot?" she asked, not really a question, more of a remark. She took another sip of her drink and looked up at him. "So...my turn for a question: name?" she asked. The basics.

"James Madrox, but call me Jamie," he said, his childhood nickname still being what he prefered to be called, no matter how many people said their girl cousin had the same name. "And yours?" he asked as he took a drink.

"But, seriously, though, no, it doesn't scare or bother me, the city life, I mean...I like excitement--adventure...not one to really sit still myself.."
