Magneto, the Master of Magnetism, calmly strode down the filthy grime-filled tunnel of the sewers under New York. Normally he would not have deigned to come down here, but he had a special reason. Even so, he hiked up the hem of his dark robes ever-so-slightly. Behind him came Pyro and Mystique.
Magneto turned the corner to find a massive metal dead end. "Well, that's it." said Pyro, sounding as though he would be glad to get out of there. "Not quite." said Magneto. He stretched out both hands. The metal end did not budge. "As I thought." he smiled. "Looks can be decieving." And with that he walked forwards right through the dead end- and vanished. The other two followed....
To see another world below them. "It was, as I thought, a hologram." said Magneto, as though stating the obvious. Below them was spread out an underground miniature city. There were grimy buildings, scores of them, stretched out in the dank sewer keepings. There was what seemed to be a marketplace, a dias... a tiny town underneath New York. "This is the centre of this particulkar community." commented Magneto, taking in the whole place in a sweeping gesutre. It was bustling with people.
"It is the centre of one of the largest groupings of mutants in existence. They are called the Morlocks..." his face twisted into a smile. "And they are about to become the bedrock of my new Brotherhood of Mutants."

"It is the centre of one of the largest groupings of mutants in existence. They are called the Morlocks..."
His brow perked, lips slightly hinting at a smirk while hazel orbs skimmed the massive crowd to which surrounded them. In a metronome manner, he stared and snapped his lighter open and closed (having not been fully waned of this habit yet), continuing to listen to his current leader.
"And they are about to become the bedrock of my new Brotherhood of Mutants."
"Doesn't sound half-bad. But what can half these guys do? They look like--" It came to a sudden realization, and he halted himself mid-sentence. Magneto had already taught him this, not only saying it less than two minutes ago - "Looks can be deceiving. Right."
He dropped his lighter into his coat pocket and brought both arms infront of himself, locking at the wrist as he stood proudly. Stood tall, beside the man that had rescued him. No longer could vocal gratitude suffice, instead, he pledged allegiance as Magneto's trusted advisor beside Mystique.
Now came the time for action, for their own last stand...

Jamie or Multiple Man as he was called by Magneto and the Brotherhood, had been bringing up the rear. He was had made a duplicate of himself for extra measures. Mystique and Pyro could have whatever glory they thought they gained by standing beside Magneto, Jamie didn't need it. He was the one man army afterall, Magneto had allowed him on board for a reason, and thats all the comfort he needed.
He looked around, making sure he knew his suroundings. He didn't like suprises all that much, especially not the kind that could end up with him bleeding... or worse on the floor.
"Your bedrock, huh? Well, lets hope they have the brains to understand your vision. I'd hate to think they're as dumb as some of them look," he said with a chuckle. Some of the guys he had seen looked like acid was dumped on them, he could tell John had wantd to say something similer.

"It is not wise to insult our new members, Mr Madrox." said Magneto casually. He brushed aside his cape ever-so-slightly and then strode into the underground city. "They are expecting us." he commented, nodding his head towards the people who did not even look up as these mutants entered their realm.
"Their leader is a mutant named Callisto." he commented to the other two. "It is she we must deal with. Our reasons for coming here are twofold; the first is to gain many new recruits and the second..." he paused for a moment. "THe second is that there are rumors of muyants here who can track other mutant's powers... and there is a mutant I would find..." as he walked towards the centre where he could see Callisto distantly, his mind wandered slightly.
I will find you....

Jamie had enough intelligence to not talk back to Magneto. He listened as Magneto talked about the two mutants. The one whos powers he talked about sounded pretty useful. They needed a good tracker. He even figured they could get a good system going, he could send dupes looking for whatever mutants this guy found. Sounds like Magneto did his research. He was beggining to think this whole thing might work out better then he thought.
Added: "So, is this going to be a merge or a corperate takeover?" he asked, wanting to know if they were going to instate there own hierarchy in this group, or if he'd have to adapt to listening to this Cal.. whatever as well.

With a flick and a snap of his lighter's lid, a sideglance was cast to the Multiple Man with a smirk attached. Nice recruit on this one, he surmised and turned to stand tall once more with the Master of Magnetism, since he atleast has the balls to say something. Mentally taking a note, he kept a reminder to congratulate the newest member on his statements.
"The second is that there are rumors of mutants here who can track other mutant's powers..."
There was hardly even a hint of intrigue on the Teen's face, those ample features stoic in their assesment of the mutants in their presence. "None of them could be that strong. Half of them look like an undercooked Red Lobster dinner." A slip of the tongue, oops, he hardly could help it. It, after all, wasn't far from the truth. "You are the leader, though, so whadda' I know?"

"So is this going to be a merge or a corporate take-over?" asked Madrox. Magneto seemed to consider the question, a brief smile coming to his face. "It will be one, but our friends here will believe it to be the other." he said, avoiding the question slightly.
"You are the leader, though, so whadda' I know?" Pyro muttered after insulting the mutants around them. "You know a great deal, Pyro my friend, but sadly thanks to Charles and his misguided pupils much of it is useless." said Magneto. The remark, while stinging, was not an insult, merely a minor retrobate- he was in charge, so it was best they listen to him. Mentally however, he did applaud Multiple Man's speaking out.
He confidently strode to the centre of the town, where a young, lithe female mutant with dark skin and a tatoo stood. The mutants around her were covered in tatooes- one of them a tall woman, another asian, another slim female Japanese girl with a purplish shade of hair.
"You are Magneto?" asked Callisto flatly. She did not sound impressed, but Magneto waved that away mentally- they could not afford to be too picky. "I am the saviour of the mutant race." he said, inevesting every syllable with firey belief. "And I am hear to ask your people to join my noble cause?"
Callisto studied him for a moment. "Why would we want to join your... flunkies?" she asked, looking at Mystique, Multiple Man and Pyro. Magneto merely smiled. "I assure you, I provide leadership but I do not have... flunkies. Multiple Man, Mystique and Pyro are both here of their own free will, and are free to leave." His eyes lit up slighlty. "But no-one has ever chosen to leave me."
"Give us one reason to join you." said the asian mutant. Magneto loomed solemnly into his face and then spoke. "If you and your people join me, there will be no more hiding. There will be no need to cower in the sewers, no need to live in fear of mankind, no need to live away from the sun." His voice rose as he speak so that other Morlocks stopped and listened. "Homo Superior will rule the world. Imagine- instead of sewers you would command nations, every mutant here a lord. You would be Kings, you would be champions, and above all..." he looked directly at Callisto and made a fist. "You would have VENGEANCE on your oppresors!" he paused dramatically- he was experienced at this type of thing.

Multiple Man had been taking in everything Magneto had been saying. He wasn't in Magento's true inner circle. He had been here long enough to know that consisted mainly of Magneto himself, and sometimes Mystique. So, he had to get as much of a game plan as he could as often as he could. The fewer suprises you had, the easier it was to figure out your next move.
Jamie found the Master of Magnetism to be very inspiring. These people originally wanted no part of a new leader, but in the end, it seemed a good amount of them were on board. Some of them looked at the old boss for guidence, she probably ran a pretty tight operation, so they hadn't made their own decision in a while.
